Here's a piece the general response to which has been, "what's the red thing?"

I got out of bed one morning with this image in my head and had to put it on, um, pixels. I guess. The original is 30" x 20" at 450 dpi. Done entirely in Photoshop CS5.

What do you think that red thing is?
